The title of the piece I chose:

‘Figure’ Paris, 1928

Iron wire and sheet metal. Muse national Picasso – Paris.

Dation Pablo Picasso

This is a sculpture created by Pablo Picasso by using iron wire and sheet metal. This was made by bending the wires in geometric shapes, and the figure was made by many parts body made out of wires that were glued together. I chose this particular piece because the figure was made with many geometric shapes which I find it fascinating. The lines are simple and the size of the piece is not that big but expressive. Even though it is an abstract sculpture, I could find out that it was a figure by using circle and little hands in the front. I like how this piece changes its shape from different angle and the shadow that are created on the base are really interesting.
