1.Career woman who was riding the bike

Interviewer(I): So why did u ride a bike on the Brooklyn bridge?

Woman(W): I am going to work.

I: So you are living in Brooklyn side?

W: I live in Brooklyn. yes, I commute to work, I either walk or take the bike.

I: So how long will it take?

W: About half an hour, 30minutes.

I: 30minutes? So do you ride bike every day or just sometimes?

W: Usually every day, sometimes I walk with the bike to work and I ride home.

I: How do you think about the Brooklyn bridge?

W: It’s beautiful, much nicer than the subway.

W: Yeah, it’s really nice and even when it rains it’s still pretty. You know, you see different things on the bridge. You’ll always see something worth looking at. Sometimes I’ll see something odd. In the winter, there was ice on the water, it was frozen, so I took the picture of that.

I: You even ride the bike in winter?

W: Yeah, I do. I like it.

I: Do you have any special memory in here?

W: Of riding on the bridge? Um.. that was one seeing the ice. One time in the rain, there was a mannequin, a nude mannequin, like stuck in the  garbage can. So I took a picture of that. It was kind of interesting. But other than that, you know, just seeing what’s going on. Sometimes the police helicopters go very low and it looks like there are gonna hit the bridge but yeah.

I: Thank you.
