My Research Plan

In Class Time:

Monday 1:30-5:30

Tuesday 9:00-1:00, 1:30-5:30

Thursday 9:00-1:00, 1:30-5:30

Friday 1:30-5:30

1st Week | Goal: Outline Ready

Wednesday, June 1

12pm – 1pm: Visit the university-learning center in order to get help with time management (planning).

2pm – 4pm: Collect possible secondary sources from The New School library’s website, and print them out if possible.

Thursday, June 2

8pm – 9pm: Think carefully about my topic, especially about the main question that I am going to focus on.

9pm – 11pm: Create research plan for my research paper. Make it specific as possible.

Saturday, June 4

3pm – 5pm: Scan one of the sources, and pick the most useful information or part of essay. Read the part I picked and analyze. (Do more than one if I have time)

Sunday, June 5

2pm – 3pm: Read and analyze the one or two sources.

3pm – 4pm: Gather the information that I found in my analysis. Sort them by categories if I have time.

4pm – 5pm: Begin writing the outline. At least get the introduction done.

Monday, June 6

8pm – 9pm: Continue working on the outline

 

2nd Week | Goal: Draft

Friday, June 10

8pm – 9pm: Finish the outline.

9pm – 10pm: Order the collected research information in the order to put in the essay.

Saturday, June 11

11am – 1pm: Start working on the first draft. Get body paragraph 1 and 2 done. Also create the bibliography.

Sunday, June 12

2pm – 5pm: Continue writing the draft. Try to get it finished but at least get body paragraph 3, 4, and 5 done.

Tuesday, June 14: Thesis and outline due

 

3rd Week | Goal: Final

Wednesday, June 15

11am – 12pm: Add annotation to the bibliography.

1pm – 3pm: Finish the rest of the writing. Finish the first draft. Revise any mistakes and be ready to bring it to the learning center.

Friday, June 17: Annotated bibliography due.

(If possible bring my draft to the learning center.)

Saturday, June 18

3pm – 5pm: Finish any writing that I must do. If I managed to bring in to the learning center on Friday, then revise my writing.

Monday, June 20

8pm – 10pm: Review my writing, and read carefully. Then post it on LP.

Tuesday, June 21: Final research essay due

 

 

 

 

 

Hazuki Uno is a Japanese Student who currently studies Illustration at Parsons School Of Design. She has moved around the world since she was bron in Japan. She has lived in Mexico, Switzerland, Germany and currently living in New York City. Mixture of the experiences that she gained by interacting with people from different cultures, exploring different countries and her own culture are her biggest inspiration for her works.
