This hand project is about movement.
The creation of this work is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s machine sketches. Absorbing Dukno Yoon’s idea, it is three-dimensionalized by wire, and connected by solder.
The principle of movement is simple. When the finger bends, the front ring would be pulled down. Attached wire would rise the wing part of the plane while the rest keeps still. Therefore, it could imitate the movement of flying.
