Flaneur

– Artist’s statement –

I had been taking pictures of this skeleton on different streets in multiple places, to dug up the details of those places. I did so because I believes that details are the most important but easiest to be ignored part of a place or an object and with the skeleton representing the reappearing of sth buried.

Shooting the skeleton is one of the first ideas that came to my mind for this project. This time, it was the skeleton itself I was looking at, waiting for me to explore. Therefore, in this series of photos, I want to show different sides of human, the outside and the inside. For example, what people are like in front of others, and the rich emotion they have in private, also the dirty side of humanity — what people goes for under their glamours surface……
