We were told to take the object we have written about in seminar and render it with one or more of the techniques that we have used so far in class. It will be an interpretation of the object and not just a straight reconstruction.
We need to first consider the object. Then think of why that cup is special, what it represents to us. Third- think of a way with the materials and techniques available to render the object in way that communicates some of these feelings and emotions.
The story I wrote was about Rebecca. She is my best friend and always will be. We shared the same values and she might the only reason why I am attending Parsons today. Starbucks, on the other hand, actually significantly reminds the time we spent together.
This Starbucks is made out of clip board and wood. In the cup there is a combination lock which is the same kind of lock was that used in our high school, representing our memory in high school.
