The original dress I bought was a off-shoulder red dress.
I cut off the shudders and the flared part of dress. I stapled the bottom together to make a bodysuit. I cut holes by the edges of the bodysuit and used the left over materials to decorate the edges of the bodysuit. I hollowed out the spaces in the front in order to reduce the use of fabric. Also I trimmed a bigger scrap of fabric to make a scarf.
Unfortunately, the result turn out to be much less graceful and delicate than what I imagined. I had to change my entire plan to make something that coheres with the theme of the hotel better.
