This is the background of St. Paul Chapel. There are lots of monuments
This is the photo i took when I visited the chapel first time. I was so impressed by the history and stories there.
You can tell that I was totally obsessed by those monuments. Because they are the best evidence of history.
First version of viewing tool. The idea is based that we want people to see the history through nowadays’ scenes.
World Trade Center is also in Financial District which is pretty exciting.

The practical work for the first version viewing tool.
Because the first version viewing tool distract people’s attention and hard to match with the real scene. So we decided to use transparent material to improve that.
This is the sketch from LU to show our idea of animal. We want people see both history and modern part from this animal.
We were trying to use green materials to create our animal. This is the corner of school’s Green Supply.
We were working in class.
I was charge of making paper look old in order to show the history of FIDI.
First, dipping those paper in coffee.
Then I baked them in 400 degree for 6 minutes.
Ta-ta. Here we got the old-look paper.
We decided to use spray painting to paint the animal silver. Because this color give this animal a modern look.
Whole class went to FIDI and they were experiencing!

When the class were in St. Paul’s Chapel.
This project was showing in front of Path station where people could see WTC and the chapel at the same time.
Lots of passengers asked about this project. And we were very proud to introduce this little creature to them
