Dodecahedron
Although the construction and embellishment of this sculpture presented some challenges, the final form and product is a result of experimentation. The initial idea was to construct a sense of three dimensional design through the use of woodstock and brass paper fasteners, however I decided to mechanically join my dodecahedron with blue decorated thumb tacks. I created design on the paper surfaces through deduction and the emphasis on negative space to present the idea of room capacity and expansion.
