Long Lost Found

Throughout the exploration of New York City and its neighborhoods, I was able to observe and analyze the behavior, actions, emotions, and relationships of the civilians within Manhattan. This opportunity was intriguing in the consumption of human behavior and the process of depicting it quickly on paper. I was able to utilize the techniques of quick shape forming and loose gestures from the classroom in the activity of in the moment artmaking. The depictions of these people allowed me to create a map of the city with a humanly aspect, which is arguably more realistic than a topographical map.
