Iterative Wearable Structure

For this project we were assigned to build an iterative structure that could be wearable. We were to build repeating smaller structure into one large one. It was to be different from all angles and be in a free form so that we could “wear” it. My structure was constructed out of wire, made up of mirroring open circles which each housed a half-pyramid structure. Space was created with different color tapes on the half-pyramids, and alternating colors to accent the piece as a whole. It was bendable but sturdy as shown in the photos. The shape I built it into, a triangle, was meant to accent the halves of women’s body (i.e. shoulders to waist, waist to knees etc.).
