First blog post! The assignment was to create a book based off of our studio class adventure to a Staten Island beach. I made a little picture book with my notes from the day; observations and thoughts. My found objects are the shells from the beach. I love the way the shells made butterflies when I opened them up, so I decided to incorporate them as my book cover. They represent the beautiful yet random day our class had together that day at the beach.
