Greese

Edward looks so handsome in his new car.  Now he can take me to the drive in or the diner for a shake. All of the girls are going to be so jealous. None of their boys have a ride.  It’s a deep red, shiny, like a cherry just picked ripe off the vine, just like the name of my new lipstick that I bought for the dance.  Edward wanted me to take a picture of him in it like he was driving it, he looks so handsome.  I know I’ll look so good in that passenger seat, with my matching lipstick and my sheer, floral scarf my mother bought me for my birthday.  That scarf will simply glide out of that open window in the the blowing breeze.

We laughed as I was about to take the picture. I asked Edward what he had in mind now that we can use the car for dates.  He looked at me then at the back seat.  After the moment it took to understand, I blushed and we giggled.  I guess we’re both adults now anyway, right?  I told him to look a little more serious, he’s a big man in his big new car! Of course his smirk still rested there as the Baldina snaps. After all,  Edward is a still just silly boy, in a silly little toy.
