Our first few assignments for the class have been, as the post title describes, wire drawings! The first was to use wire to create a 2-D wire drawing of our hands. I enjoyed this project because I felt it was a good introduction into the material. From there we moved to 3-D. This next assignment for the class was to create a sculpture of a fruit, of our personal choice. I chose an apple, a fruit that I am very familiar with. After creating the 3-D the next step was to take a picture and edit it to look like a 2-D drawing of the fruit. With this in mind, I based my sculpture off the idea of a contour drawing.
