These are just some pictures that helped form my piece, the cartoons are from a vegan artist named vegan sidekick, his work inspired me as well.

These are my process images. I baked my first round of cakes to see how they would come out, but I didnt shape them, then me and Professor Youens made a scale sized version on paper that was 10 inches and when I made my next two rounds I used it to cut them out and shape them. This is a sculpture and looking at it that way I made it out of all the same medium, no frosting or anything else, this is held together by cake, just cake. I found the batter however when cooked a little bit is like a glue so I used that to bind some pieces together, it is 100% safe to eat, there is no raw eggs obviously. I made an abstract carrot shape with the red and brown cake like vegetables or carrots, specifically and then piled them up! For the “mashed potatoes” I used softer pieces of the yellow cake and it looked quite realistic. For the Steak I combined all 3 cakes, I sliced the brown cake in half and put a layer of red cake in between, I then carefully cut out the bone shape with yellow cake and placed it on the tray and put the other pieces inside of it. This project taught me a lot and it was exciting trying a new medium and sculpting it.
