I’ve decided to add the article “ The Refugees at Our Door” because this article talking about Mexican refugees leaving their home for political reasons. This text added but in a more clear way to the contrast of the political and “other” in my map. The “other was either by choice, economic standpoint, or other stimuli. I think this text contributes to the existing conversation because this text almost doesn’t illustrate a home at all. The other texts focus a lot on the homes and the details while this text gives a broader look at these peoples lives and how they’re always moving with no home at all.
