The three collages create a dialogue between the artworks of two artists. The first one explores the human depictions of artists, Ai Weiwei and William Kentridge. The second one creates a mystical illusion using the dark elements of William Kentridge’s art and the colorful aspects of Richard Barnes. The third collage serves as a nature vs. machine theme using the colorful buildings and landscapes of Richard Barnes and the black and white animal sketches of William Kentridge.
