For my project my intention was to create a music venue that would encourage people to meditate through music. My main inspiration for this project was a rap/ Hip hop concert that I went to which was really crowded and sweaty. I wanted to mix this up a little and create both private and public areas inside my space with pods and platforms.
After hearing the feedbacks from my presentation I believe concrete would be the best material for my space since it would give my venue an unfamiliar, moon-like feeling and that is what seperates my venue from a night club or an ordinary concert space.
The rotation in my designed space is pretty simple. You walk past the huge grass pillar at the courtyard and get in to a space that is covered with grass and it also has 2 platforms which gives a hint to the audience of what to expect when they get inside.
