Final Version – Photoshop

It took me time to choose a theme for my cinematic drawing project.
After contemplating for a while, I decided to create a place based on the words of a poem written by my father:
Sunny day, a family house with a yard and a kettle. In the background mountain tops covered with snow. Near the house there’s a mysterious road, grass and plants.
A furry polar bear sits on a floating couch. thick colourful smoke comes out of the house’ chimney. Little white rabbits appear in the smoke.

I’ve used a 2 VP perspective and rounded lines to draw the scene.
I’ve chosen pastel, faded coloured for my palette, mostly in shades of purple and turquoise. I’ve coloured manually on Photoshop in order to create a painting- like effect.
I found it hard to compose the colours in a way that would compliment the settings.

In the future I would like to learn more about colour and light composition and to experience other digital colouring techniques.
