My idea was to create an imaginative space made out of textures and patterns. The textures would be based on my friend’s interests such as astronomy, reading, feminism, and the desert. In addition, I used patterns from paintings of artists she liked.

I decided to make the physical drawing with pen and marker to create a graphical feel with strong contrasts.
