For my portrait, I wanted to make the piece look as though it was sketched within a child’a notebook. To achieve this, I wanted the wires to look as though they were scribbled by child, therefore they weren’t very symmetrical or pristine and looked almost messy. Finally, in order to make the piece officially look like it was made in a child’s notebook, I decided to mount the piece onto a notebook and do my best to draw little sketches around it that a child might draw in their notebook.
