Mini Monument (Alfred Hitchcock)

Process:

Final:

With the monument itself, I wanted to do the best I could to represent Alfred Hitchcock and his impact on modern day filmmaking. To start, I chose to make the monument itself a camera because Alfred Hitchcock himself was specifically known for his incredible camera movements. To symbolize Hitchcock’s influence on modern filmmakers, I chose to make this piece in the style of a “vintage camera”. The pieces themselves are made out of modern filmmaking materials (such as a modern tripod and an iPhone camera lens).
