Week Illustration

With my illustration, I primarily wanted to convey the repetition associated with my typical week. Because I tend to do the same activities on a weekly basis with little to no change, I decided to make both my activities and devices in a “loop” formation. To show which actives I do during the week, I wrote the activities within the first layer of my week. This was done to show activities that I do during the week are the most important, and therefore, set the terms for my weekly schedule. Furthermore, within the activities square is another “loop” formation but instead of activities, this one has my most used devices and the devices I do to complete my activities. Once again, this list is in this format to show that I use the same devices on a frequent basis. Finally, the background of the illustration is pieces of a calendar with each day crossed out. This is suppose to portray that I am both organized and like to stay busy.
