sphinx’s riddle

One of my first memories when I was a kid was when I was 3 years old and I was living in Manchester with mum mum and dad.

I woke up one morning and I smelled my dad cooking my favourite breakfast “English breakfast” I jumped out of bed and put on my Manchester United slippers and ran downstairs. I sat down at the table and it was on of the best breakfasts I have ever had.  After my breakfast me and my dad drove down to the training ground to train for his match tonight. I love going to my dads training because I get to kick around the football all day.

After training my dad always take me to get my favourite milkshake. I remember I loved spending time with my dad because he was my best friend.

After we got home and watched a movie because my dad had to rest for the rest of the day because he had a big match that night against man city. This was a huge match because they were both teams that hated each other.

It got to around 5pm at night and we started to get in the car and I was wearing my full Manchester United kit head to toe.

We got to the ground and we parked under ground and my favourite thing about this football ground is the little red doors you have to walk through to get to your seats, I remember it very clearly. As we walked through I saw the Manchester untied mascot “Fred the red” I went up to him and gave him a huge hug.

When me and my grandma got to our seats and the national anthem was playing we saw my dad wave at me I shouted “love you” and all the fans shouted “glory glory man united”.

When the game was over my dad ran over to the side and lifted me over and let me come on the pitch. He passed me a football and played it towards the goal and I ran and keep kicking it and I was getting closer to the goal and as I was getting closer the fans was getting loader and loader and when I did that last kick into the back of the net the fans went crazy and I was so happy and I ran back to my dad and he gave me a big hug and said “I’m so proud of you”
