For my final project I decided to up cycle jeans. Jeans is something I throw away and try to recycle very often. The production of jean fabric consumes a lot of water and energy. So I decided to make something new out of this fabric. I want to make something that we buy often, technological accessories. There are many updates on these accessories that change every year because the product itself changes, they become thinner smaller, as well as new products every year. AirPods is an example of something that its shape changes every year. Most of the time people buy accessories that go with these products. Up cycling jeans is the best way to extend the life of this item that you would have thrown away but it is still in a good shape. This is something that can be easily be made at home by anyone. I intervene in the end of life of Jeans, by giving them another life, as well as when people consume other products, that are usually made out of plastics. I intervene by not consuming new products.
