I’m going to be 95 years old and still trying to figure out what happens to light when it enters water.
This week, I drew lots of water that finally started looking better than what I drew last week!! I feel like I have a better understanding of how to draw it now, but I still don’t feel like I have it yet. I can’t get my light sources right, but once I do, I think I’ll be able to draw some rad stuff.
This week, Dan is going to show me how to draw with a tablet on Photoshop, and I’m going to begin digitizing the water bubbles I’ve drawn for the animation. I’m also going to chat with Alex to see if she’s gotten the design for the structure sorted, so I can draw the orthographic concept sketches if that is still a thing that needs to happen.
I started from the bottom and drew upward, and by the time I got to the top, the top two were drawn without a reference. I’m SO PUMPED ABOUT IT.
