I chose Constructed Environments because I’m interested in creating environments in the cinematic realm and I believe this class will help me understand environments on a scale I haven’t before. In this class, I expect to learn about architecture and design in an aesthetic and analytic manner. I want to have a better understanding of how an atmosphere can affect our experiences and perceptions, how it can manipulate the way we think and the way we feel. I want to be able to pay attention to the details I never had before and understand the intentions of a structure or a space. I expect this class to challenge the way I view the world and make me think outside of the box.
