A thesis statement is really important while writing an essay because it reflects what you will discuss in the next paragraphs. It has to encompass all the information you want to give and help you make your point. Thesis statements are probably the one of the hardest things for me because I often have to create outlines and figure out the whole structure of the essay before I can come up with one. Since they are so essential in writing, it also puts extra pressure on me to create the perfect one. One of the reasons why I hate writing so much is because I can’t help myself from constantly editing what I write and it makes writing very tiring. This is due to the fact that everything needs to sound write to me if it doesn’t I don’t feel comfortable in submitting it, therefore, it makes creating thesis statements all the more frustrating. However, once you get it done, it really brings the whole thing together.
