Reflection
When I was making the list for my mind map, I realized that most of the time I am inspired by movies and even if I’m not inspired by them, I find a way to incorporate them into my projects. I am also writing my research paper on set design so I thought it would be fitting if I made a mind map that is dedicated to cinema. I chose 12 movies that I have made a project on or will eventually make a project on because they inspire me so much visually. I wanted to make my mind map colorful and fun because my art usually has a playful side to it so I decided to make a board game out of it. The board game I took inspiration from was Guess who? which has a similar format to battleship. In the game, your opponent must guess the person you are describing to them without seeing who they are. That’s why I made it so that you can’t see the answer unless you open up the flaps. Over them, I wrote a description of why they are significant to me which is a clue for people to “guess” which movie it is.
