On the 31st of October, hundreds of New Yorkers or people from all over the world dressing up packed in Greenwich Village for the costume Halloween parade. The parade contends dance music from dozens of giant floats and lots of performance. During the parade, I noticed that the Evil clowns seemed to be the single most popular costume in the year 2018 (even though it was my first time to attend the Halloween Parade in New York City) I saw costumes like zombies, minions, teddy bears, sexy bunnies (myself), characters from Disney, etc. The energy that I sense from the performers were quite interesting because some of the performers tried to have interaction with the audients, some of them tired and scared the audients too. In terms of the body movement, people normal walk and act like a normal human being, however, I’ve seen some people walking on the street pretend they are zombies and walk like they are about to bite someone to death. But for the most part, people were there to have a great time and dance along with the performance and just enjoy the moment of celebrating Halloween as a whole citizen.
