This was a 6″ by 6″ foam core construction. I was insppired by pictures on my laptop of mountains and natural landscapes, and wanted to incorporate those ideas into this piece of work. I decided to make a base for it and made different templates on tracing paper. Then applied the tracing paper onto the foam core and cut out the pieces. Each individual piece would stand alone with only the wooden sticks at the bottom, which would poke into base to keep the pieces secure. I enjoyed making this mini assignment and was pleased with the outcome.
