I chose to paint a picture of agricultural fields because the way they are positioned reminds me of a pattern and the consistent color palette makes it uniform. I decided only to mimic the colors and not the texture or perspective to make it look less like a photo and more like a pattern, I also used acrylic paint to separate each block from the others so that the painting wouldn’t look as blended as the photo.
