Part 1
Process (sources)
When I think of part 1, I first thought about main character’s job, what she do in the story. However, I decided to make a wallpaper about her personality. I chose a word ‘free’ because she is very independent from her family. She always do what she wants to do. For the background color, I chose skyblue because I wanted to use birds to represent her flying freely. I used pen tool in illustrator program to trace bird shape. Part 2 (sources)
For part two, I imagined main character’s face, and drew a portrait. I wanted to keep her face in black and white to emphasize other things that I wanted to express. After I drew her face with pencil, I used colorpencil to draw feather muffler because many jazz singer wore that in the past. Also, I used gold color to represent her singing in a jazz bar. My part two portrait is mostly about her career.
