Earth Manual Project reflection

Last Wednesday, I went to Parsons building to check out Earth Manual Project by Hirokazu Nagata. It was very interesting because the artist, he was a guest speaker for our language and letter for class. I hear about this exhibition few weeks ago, but I did not have a chance to visit there, but last Wednesday finally I visited it to see his exhibition. This exhibition is originating in Japan, the exhibition includes examples of work from countries where natural disasters are frequent, such as Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Projects introduced in the exhibition utilize distinctly creative and innovative approaches to disaster issues.
It is a small exhibition so it was easy to see all of his works. I liked his little cute details like a facial expressions and animal dolls. Through his work, I see the cultural and envirnmental parts together, and these beautiful combination made his work more interesting.
