Reflection

I enjoyed writing this essay a lot. I was personally very interested in what happens on the internet and how posts about feminism and other social issues all blast up and we get the knowledge to know what is wrong and right. There were many things clashing with my argument, which was why it was okay to judge. One of which was that defining the line between how it is okay to judge and how it is not. Judging character based on someone’s look and judging people’s ethnicity are two very different things. They might interlink in someway. So there was a lot of thinking and continuos fact checking to do. I also wish I could write more as I think I couldn’t explain everything thoroughly because it’s such a complex topic, but I also think I used my own voice as I wanted to. Putting up facts and being kind of straight-up was my way to go through the essay and I think it made my essay unique. As people, we tend to shy out from the truth so that no one gets hurt. But putting them right up, creates less confusion and knots and makes our social issues develop more. Yes, women are physically weak on average, but it doesn’t mean they can’t develop to be or try to be or they naturally can’t be. And I think statements like that are what actually need to be out there.
