I chose a vessel, a water bottle and an air cushion foundation as my three objects because they are all from someone who means a lot to me. And I placed them in this way to indicate the overlapping part so that the shadow was changed from the original version. Also, I chose this painting by Michelangelo because I like its color and position. For the first collage which is required to use adjustment layer masks, I reversed the high key and low key part of the original line drawing because I wanted to create a contrast between my line drawing and the new collage. For example, I placed bright color of the painting to where should be the shadow in my line drawing. And I also remained the frame and curtain to make my collage look like a painting instead of a just collage. For the second collage which should use Paint Bucket and Brush, I did not use all colors from my palette. Like what I said, I chose this painting by Michelangelo because I like its color and I like how the red changed in this painting. So I used a lot red in my collage to emphasize the different value of red. For the combination one, I just combined my two collages into a new one because I wanted to keep my third one simple and I wanted all my collages are related. And I found the drawing of the air cushion foundation is distracting so I deleted this part to keep my collages simple. I think because I use Photoshop a lot and I am familiar with it, creating so many layers and working with them are not difficult for me. Although I did not use the adjustment layer masks before, I learn how to use it quickly.
