I choose this picture because I like its color and composition. And this picture feels gentle and romantic to me. There are both high value and low value in both morning and night version and I use live trace tool for both version. For the morning version, I choose the palette from yellow to red because I think morning is passionate and energetic which yellow and red represent. And I feel sky has diverse colors so I fill the sky with gradients in order to show the distinct gradations. For the night version, I choose to the palette from pink to blue because night feels gentle and soft to me. And I can feel the same way from pink and blue which make me calm and think of romantic things. Also, the original picture has pink sky. Even though I am doing the night version, I do not want it to be too dark. I do not like the stereotype of night so I want to do a light but gentle version of night sky.
