I was inspired by the two photography by Eugene Atget because I was obsessed with the elegant and classic vibes in his photos. I picked up three pieces from the two photos: a silk dress, a lace hair band and a corset which were items that are so feminine. Therefore, I designed a silk long dress which represented comfort and gorgeous side, a lace choker which made my ensemble modern, and a corset which was able to show the shape of a woman’s body and they were transformed from the three items I picked from the photos. I would not physically embed the photographic images into fabric or make a pattern from them. Instead, I would use simple fabric to approach the elegant and classic style. I probably would use silk, lace and leather as my fabric. My budget for this project is around fifty dollars.
