Finalizing the puppet

Front:

The front of the wing/body looks fairly complete, however the inner part was not decorated. so I decided to add more texture to the inner part of the wings with paper pulp and woven wire. It adds rigidness and scratching sound the the movement, it also has a tint of red/orange/ pink color that resembled a bit of the flesh or the muscle.

After

In studio, I was playing around with different movement possibilities with the puppet

here are some screenshot of the video I took (file was too big to put in here)

On-site Shooting

I actually did not get to go to the original site that I wanted because it was locked up, however luckily I found an alternative space that shares the similar characteristic with passing of train and the construction site near by. I finished filming and take photos of the puppet on December 5th, and now I am currently in the progress of editing the video and waiting for a friend of mine to process the film photos for me. Here are some shots I’ve taken from my phone. These shots are how the puppet interacted with the space and some behind the scenes of my friend Ada and I.

This is the first scene, where the train would pass by in the background.
