Integrative Seminar 1: peer to peer : Reflection

.) This broke topic helped me write more in detail. Having to write 5 pages meant describing settings and feelings more than I have in the past.

.) My approach was to just sit down and write a little bit each day for 4 days. It was pretty difficult because I’m a slow writer so five pages took me longer than I expected. The class discussion didn’t really influence my writing except for knowing that I didn’t have to overthink I just had to write.

.) One I started drafting my essay my topic shifted slightly from where I started. I began writing about the time me and Finn hung out together and when I finished with that I decided to write about his personality.

.) What surprised me most about writing this essay was how long it look me to finish the five pages vs. how quickly it took me to edit them down to two pages. The most challenging part was writing in detail because its not something I’m used to.

.) My seminar work and studio work was connected because in these two classes I spend time talking and working with Finn. This helped me in my studio collage and in my seminar writing because it gave me an insight into Finns personality.
