In this semester, I learned a lot of sewing methods. It is quite necessary for my final clothes. The plain seam is a very basic sewing way when I do my garment. With this, I know how to connect the clothes nicely. recently, I really like clothes made in a collage way. I want to make a garment in the same way. Thus, I would use a lot of backstitch in my garment to connect two different parts of fabric.
new techniques
For this project, the new techniques I would use is I want to cut a lapel with pvc material. The other is I would use the pattern of cardigan to make a overcoat. Besides, when I cut the lapel I want to sew it to the coat. I am going to do a clothes in “collage way”. So firstly, I would make a basic coat and then I would put some materials on the top to make it special.
