For the video I was thinking of doing mini interviews to 2-3 people. I want to explore the subject of the phone, specifically the pictures and videos, as an extension of our memory. Nowadays, we tend to film or photograph almost everything, from our lunch to concerts. I want to explore the idea that, while technology allows us to keep memories longer ], digitally and physically, they can also become false memories. We tend to focus more on taking a good video and good picture, rather that actually enjoying the moment and the people we are with. I also want to explore the incompleteness of such digital memories. They are just moments being recorded, but they don’t contain the whole story, emotions, informations of the actual moment. I don’t know yet how I would conduct the interviews. I wouldn’t want them to seem too serious. And I also have to be able to make it between the time limit. This is the base idea, but I definitely have to give it a little more thought.
