I really enjoyed the audio walk. It was manufactured really well. I loved being so immersed in the space and having been lead through so many interesting areas in the park. I felt like I really experienced the park when I did the audio walk, more than I ever had before. It called attention to so many different interesting locations, and had very fitting audio for every section. I like that it gave a break between tracks so you could pause and start again. I wonder how many audio recording devices she used and if all the audio was taken in one go. I think it was really well planned and orchestrated. The audio was so seamless that it was hard to differentiate between what was real and what was not. Even my fifteen year old sister thought the walk was interesting, and she doesn’t have a good attention span. It was very immersive and kept you entertained throughout. It was a really lovely experience and I am glad we went for the audio walk. I love that the experience was really felt when using both headphones and how the sound felt like it travelled all around me. It felt real and 360. I wish to achieve good sound quality like that in my own podcast but dont feel like I am skilled enough to do that yet. I will probably have to figure that part out on my own. It is a good project to have experienced while doing my own podcast.
