Studio: Fake Artist – Multiple Perspectives

For this project my group decided to go based off the work of Al Loving. We renamed his work and revolved it around the theme of emotion, exploring landscape and portraiture through layering colors

For the 10 fake pieces my group decided to split the project equally amongst us. This made the projection more of a collaboration than an individual project per person. Jamie started the process by taking photos of individuals from multiple angles, Eliz took these photos, combined them and edited and I took the edited photos and enhanced them by adding several layers of colors and graphics. I stuck to the idea of emotion and the contrasting use of warm and cool tones. I also added the spiral and checkered patterns that would tie in to Al Loving’s pieces.
