For this assignment, I took inspiration from the older Ukiyo-e style by using a limited palette, using only blue and yellow for color. I was also very inspired by Ukiyo-e prints of animals, so, following the guidelines of the assignment, I chose to make a tryptic of a story following the transformation of a woman to a boar. I chose to draw a a forest landscape in the background, similar to areas I would hang out with with friends in my hometown in Vermont. I added some other little creatures into the piece, such as a dragon fly, turtles, and frogs.
