Gianell and I have been working for a week now, and the central theme of our series happens to revolve around the beauty and simplicity of life itself. Over the past week, we have been sharing snapshots of our daily lives to capture this sense of wholesomeness through our given medium, photography.
Chance has played a large part in my compositions. Seemly enough, Gianell and I have create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing collection of photos. No matter what time of day it it, we seem to talk to each other through color, shape, form that appear to coincide effortlessly.
I really admire Gainell’s ability to photograph such intimate moments in a visceral way. Working with her allows me to see her in a completely new, and personal perspective. I applaud her composition, and choice in color and form, as they are both easy to “talk back to”.
