Bridge 2 Peer Review

After finishing final critiques for the Bridge 2, I thought about which one affected me the most and left a longer lasting impression than all the others. Arianna and Vanessa’s presentation left me stunned at the issues they were discussing, and simply the way they pulled it off. Incorporating different medias in their presentation, the pair effortlessly combated the topic of pregnancy, abortion, and birth control. I was really impressed with their ability to add in drawings and stop motions, as well as visceral photography that tied into their argument, as well as their aesthetic. Vanessa and Ariana were able to connect to their viewers, relaying to them in a comedic way. My favorite photo out of the presentation was the ‘zine-esque’ photo of the woman simply because growing up, I read a lot of zines and I understand the meaning and impact that zines hold.

Vanessa and Ariana have really grown since last week, all while remaining true to their central theme and topic(s). I thoroughly enjoyed how the two were able to get their ideas across while maintaining a stable and easy-to-read conversation.
