Bridge 4 allowed me to understand and go through the process of making a monument based off of research and on site observations. The key learning experience I took away from this process was how important research about not only the past but the present is as well. When recreating a monument, one must fully understand all components connecting to the subject matter. Understanding the past, present, and futur is by far crucial in making a monument and what makes a monument timeless and inclusive to all communities.
