For my daily conversations with an artist, I chose to focus on Philip Guston’s Source. This piece is one that brings me much warmth and happiness due to the colors and playful graphics. I first came upon this piece in the MoMA February 2018 and then again in September 2018. Both times I found myself completely captivated and drawn in by the feelings that the piece made me feel. For these reasons, I decided to try and recreate my own versions of Source.
