When looking up the term Design Thinking, you get the definition of; “Design Thinking is a methodology used by designers to solve complex problems, and find desirable solutions for clients. A design mindset is not problem-focused, it’s solution focused and action-oriented towards creating a preferred future.” Why I wanted to include this was because I didn’t really know what the term Design Thinking was prior to looking it up and watching this TED talk. I really like how it is defined and how it talking about designing made for learning through making. The design principles I learned in this talk was; Prototype, ask questions, collaborate, focus on people, participate, start movements, building to think and think Holistically. I will defiantly be taking these design principles with me when I think of new designs for every project I do.
